I actually got the 2nd one out during the last proper solar eclipse a few years ago. The doctors that were taking the nail out actually stopped mid-operation to look out the window and go "Oh, look at the eclipse!! It's nice, aint it" with me lying down with a couple of syringes stuck in my toe like a fuckin pin cushion!!
